Alejandro Sanz recibe un premio y aclara el episodio de defensa a la mujer acosada./ Alejandro Sanz is given a prize. He explains the defense incident of the hounded woman.

Imagine that you’re a famous singer, a man. You’re singing in the middle of your concert and, suddenly, you notice how a man shouts violently at a woman. Do you stop the concert or keep on singing as if nothing had happened?

This is the controversy Alejandro Sanz found himself involved in arising out of one of the concerts he was giving in Mexico.

Without much thinking, Alejandro took his guitar off and, stopping the concert, stepped off the stage to reprimand that man, ordering to throw him out of the premises.

Taking into account Alejandro’s attitude, which has awarded him a prize for his beautiful humanity, an analogical person would think that Alejandro acted drawn by his goodness criteria, the goodness of helping a person, a woman, who was being psychologically hounded by a man.

A logical person would interpret far from Alejandro‘s humanitarian gesture. (S)he would see a marketing strategy under that gesture (Why marketing? If everything happened suddenly!), (s)he would even see Alejandro’s gesture as a false gesture, leading by the concept of goodness, an overacting false gesture with the only intention of playing to the gallery, pleasing everyone, being gallery Alejandro’s concert audience, mostly women, who, overcome by emotion, were singing his romantic songs.

Congratulations if you've translated the text already! I hope your translation has been as good as you'd think it would be. If not, don't worry at all. You can copy the test and the solution in different files. Repeat the test until it comes out right. And don't look the solution so much or you'll go blind! He, he... It's a joke!

Y pasarte a buscar,/ And pick you up,

Esperar tu mensaje y echarte de menos/ Wait for your message and miss you

Concentrarme y ni hablar/ Focus or speak

Porque quiero ir más lejos./ Because I want to go further.

Lejos contigo a bailar,/ Far away with you to dance,

A dejarnos llevar/ To let us get carried away

Quiero cubrir tu cuerpo entero/ I want to cover your entire body

Y dejar a las cosas pasar/ And let things happen

Y que digan su nombre/ And let them say their name

And see that what is is true

Hello everyone! This week we have a text on Music. I've always been a romantic soul. When I was 12, I discovered Luis Miguel, the Mexican singer. I've been listening for his songs and vibrating with emotion for so many years. I continue liking him, but there was something inside me that claimed for sentimentalism. I'm not saying that Luis Miguel's songs are not sentimental. What I'm saying is that I needed to strengthen my own soul by searching in other singer's songs. That's when I discovered Dani Martín. As far as I can think, Dani Martín's songs are not as romantic as Luis Miguel's songs. But the sentimentalism of Dani Martín's songs can fill any empty soul. As they did with mine.

Please, do translate the text this time into English.

Next week, as usual, I'll write my own translation and you'll be able to check your mistakes, if any!!

Remember this is the fastest way for you to be a great writer and translator in English and Spanish! Best wishes and good luck!
